# Human Centered Holdings

> Human Centered Holdings is a long-horizon holding company that builds, holds, and invests in digital infrastructure with humans at the center. Its flagship project is .human: a proposed new generic top-level domain (gTLD) and domain extension for people. HCH has applied to ICANN and is in the running to secure stewardship of .human, with a public pre-registration campaign running now.

- .human is **not** the same as .com (commerce), .org (institutions), or .ai (agents). It is a new top-level domain string in the ICANN new gTLD program.
- Pre-registration is a **priority claim** with Human Centered Holdings, not a live registry registration today. ICANN has not yet delegated .human. Estimated delegation: 2027–2028 (not guaranteed).
