Why we exist
The conventional answer to who builds the internet has been the same for thirty years: whoever shows up first with the most capital.
That model has produced extraordinary technology and extraordinary wealth. It has also produced systems that extract more than they give back, that move faster than the cultures they serve, and that hold no one accountable for the long-term effects of what they create.
Human Centered Holdings was formed to be a different kind of participant. We are a holding company structured for patience. We are founder-led, value-aligned, and built to operate across decades rather than fund cycles. We exist to make sure that as the digital world grows, it grows with people at the center.
What "human centered" means to us
Four commitments
- It means people first.
- Every decision begins with the people the decision affects. Users, members, customers, communities: they are the constituency, not a variable to optimize.
- It means dignity over scale.
- We will choose smaller and better over bigger and faster. The size of a thing is not its measure.
- It means cultural humility.
- The digital world serves billions of people in thousands of languages and tens of thousands of communities. We design for that reality, not for our own convenience.
- It means accountable power.
- When an institution has the ability to shape lives, it must be answerable for how it does so. We publish our principles and we live by them.
What we stand for
Our convictions are written down — ten operating principles that govern how we build, hold, and invest. They run from people before platforms to culture is infrastructure, each paired with the specific commitment it asks of us. They are public, and they are the standard we hold ourselves to.

§ Structure
Human Centered Holdings LLC is a limited liability company organized under Delaware law. It is founder-led and operates under an Operating Agreement that codifies three structural commitments.
- Long time horizons.
- The Company is structured for stewardship, not exit.
- Inclusive capital.
- A standing portion of member interests is reserved for a 501(c)(3) charitable partner so that public benefit is built into the cap table, not added on later.
- Transparent governance.
- Members receive regular plain-English reports. Major decisions are made in writing and preserved in the record.
A note from the founder
The digital world I had spent my career helping to build had begun to drift away from the principles I believed should guide it. There was room, and need, for a holding company that operates at a different cadence and works to a different definition of success.
