It is applied for through ICANN and is meant to be an internet address for people: distinct from .com (commerce), .org (institutions), and .ai (agents). Human Centered Holdings has applied to steward .human if ICANN awards it.

At the moment, we're the only applicant who is offering the public the opportunity to pre-register their claim. By buying a First Human Founder's Box, you strengthen our chance of winning a contention with a competitor and bring yourself one step closer to securing your .human name.

We don't need your address to claim your priority name, but we do need it if we're going to ship your Founder's Box (optional). We'll also need it when the time comes for the actual registration. Your address can be filled in anytime through the online portal.

If you claimed your name for free, we'll invite you to complete your registration when the registry launches. If you're one of our Founding Members (includes the first year's registration fee), we'll register your .human using the information you provided to us.

ICANN has estimated delegation between 2027 and 2028. Unfortunately this is not within our control and ICANN will prioritize the release of new strings through their internal processes. This doesn't change anything for you. We'll hold your name right up to registration day.

After registering your name with us, you can join us as a First Human Founding Member. The membership includes some limited edition merch and the first year of registration to .human.
