Human Centered Holdings

What we build

Four focus areas, chosen to outlast us.

Human Centered Holdings invests in and operates digital infrastructure across four focus areas. Each one was chosen because the long-term decisions made there will outlast any single founder, fund, or platform.

  1. 01

    Identity infrastructure

How people are named, found, and trusted online is being rewritten this decade. The systems built now — for naming, verification, and reputation — will hold for generations. We invest where identity is being designed with dignity and durability at the center.

  2. 02

    Creative platforms

The most valuable cultural commons of the next century will be built on top of platforms that serve creators, not the other way around. We invest in and operate platforms that put creators, communities, and the people who fund them on equal footing.

  3. 03

    Public-interest technology

Some digital infrastructure is too important to be left to whoever can afford to build it first. We support technology that civic institutions, non-profits, and communities depend on, and that the market would otherwise underserve.

  4. 04

    Patient operating companies

We hold and operate companies that were built for the long run. Our patient capital model lets those companies make decisions a quarterly investor cannot tolerate.

How we work with founders

We are not a venture fund.

We do not push for exits, ten-year mandatory liquidations, or growth at the expense of values. We are a holding company structured for permanence. When we partner with a founder, we do so with the understanding that we expect to be in the cap table, and on the journey, for the long haul.

If your project meets these criteria, we want to hear from you.

  • It is mission-aligned with human-centered principles.
  • It is built for durability, not for exit.
  • Its founders have the temperament and discipline to operate on long time horizons.
